Catching every moment to teach is very
important. New teachers tend to be nervous to follow lesson plan closely, but
actually the teachable moment is more effective then curriculum. I think Wu
Laoshi’s 5 minutes spent in teaching “找” and “我” is worthwhile.
The students were very motivated according to their performance. The classroom atmosphere was relaxing, and Wu Laoshi did a nice job to grab students’ attention, such as being humorous and using Kahoot!, which lowered students’ affective filter.
